i want to quit smoking cold turkey no drugs.Anybody who’s quit smoking by cold turkey and are still smoke free feel free to let me know how you accomplished this.

I did this by not thinking about, not buying them, and just chewing gum.
I tried. But failed. My biggest factor in failing was all my friends I hung out with smoked.
It feels good when you smoke, but who cares if it kills you, the only bad thing about it is, your teeth are yellow, gross status, just think of your pearly white smile and quit lol. Best of luck to you!
actually,, i have not experienced smoking yet.. but as i observe the people around me,, they use candies, chocolates or gums as an alternative for them not to miss smoking..
I chain smoked 20 at one sitting and felt so sick that I have never smoked or even thought about smoking since.
Just do it, I did, I did go and have a Lung Xray first though, when it came back it show that i had mild hyper ventilated lungs, which means there was some trapped air in air sacks, the doctor said its fine but if i keep on smoking over years more trapped air will result in bigger problems so i stopped that day and its now been 10 years, yes it was a bit hard for the first couple of weeks but now i’m so glad i did. Feel so much better and cant stand the smell of it now. C’mon we all know its stupid and bad for us, so just stop unless you want to die from emphysema lying in a hospital bed struggling for air. Be smart.
I never thought it was a big thing to quit smoking suddenly. But that was after I had smoked that last cigarette an hour before my heart surgery was scheduled. Well…that was 14 years ago. Yes,before that, I dreaded quitting even for an hour. So, please assume you are after that last cigarette you have smoked last time and never light one. For me it is easier now to tell you though since you asked. Best of luck with your substitute.lol Don’t ask me what is that.

I am a smoker so I know how easy it is to give in and start smoking again. If you look at people who smoke, it’s mostly a social thing. You smoke more when your with your friends and around other people. Either because they are smoking or when your bored or even when your in an awkward situation. But, when your home alone you tend to smoke less. Am I right? Well, why don’t you try spending the first week or so away from your smoking friends until you can get a handle on it.. Then slowly start hanging out with them. And whenever you decide that you need another cigarett say to yourself lets try 5 more min. and see if i can go without one. But, once you do that 5 min. You know that you made it and you should be able to last another 5 min. etc. Just try it. It worked for me.
